Access to Legal and Financial Services
Worcestershire LMC Ltd cannot provide individual GPs or practices with legal or financial advice. However, we can offer our constituents access to a range of services.
Worcestershire LMC Legal Advisors – DR Solicitors
DR Solicitors, with over 23 years of experience, have been acknowledged as the main legal advisers to the medical profession, and are the largest and most experienced team of solicitors in the country, focused wholly on primary care.
Their core expertise is a deep understanding of all the NHS and healthcare regulations. and they apply these to all other aspects of law including, commercial, regulatory, property, disputes, employment, corporate/partnership and more.
Through our agreement with DR Solicitors, we can obtain practical, reliable and focused legal advice on a variety of regulatory and contractual issues on an ad hoc basis, in response to matters raised by our members.
In addition to legal advice, DR Solicitors also provide the LMC with access to an HR Advisory service.

HR & Employment Support Package
The HR Service is only available to the medical profession and is run by HR consultants under a contract which can be renewed annually. Services are subject always to the terms and conditions of service, a copy of which can be provided upon request.
BMA Law
BMA Law was set up by the British Medical Association to provide expert legal advice to the medical community.
In 2015 it became licensed as a fully independent law firm, allowing it to provide a full range of services. In addition to providing legal services to individuals and their family members it also acts as the BMA’s legal services provider. It is not necessary to be a BMA member to use BMA Law services, but if you are, you will benefit from discounted rates.
