Our Primary Care Units provide same-day assessment and treatment for patients who would otherwise attend the Emergency Department, allowing GPs to utilise and develop their urgent care skills across a diverse patient population in a supportive clinical setting. Community Hospital Out of Hours sessions offer the opportunity to provide clinical support to inpatients, including frailty, rehabilitation, palliative care and sub-acute medicine, with direct access to experienced nursing teams and established clinical pathways.
